Rowley’s is under the ownership of Max & Susan Fischer and Rupert Rowley. The Fischer’s have run the prestigious one Michelin star “Fischer’s at Baslow Hall” for the past twenty two years and Rupert Rowley has been Executive Chef there since 2002.
New for 2013, Chef Patron Max Fischer has designed new menus in collaboration with Head Chef Jason Kendra and Sous Chef Ian Woodhead. As you may know, Max was named Local Food Hero 2009 by Derbyshire Food & Drink Awards, in recognition for his passion for utilizing home grown produce and sourcing locally. This seasonal produce has inspired Max to further the creation of new dishes using fresh, wholesome ingredients. They will also be championing healthy cooking methods.
The Rowley’s Set Menu is available at lunch and early evening offering excellent value. The Fish Friday supper offer is popular with locals and visitors, and Rowley’s Sunday Lunch is an ideal opportunity to relax with friends and family. The Children’s menu is available every day.
