Adam Harper, formerly Junior Sous Chef at Fischer’s Baslow Hall, has recently taken the helm in Rowley’s Kitchen.

Adam comes with a good pedigree. He joined Michelin starred sister restaurant Fischer’s in 2010 as a Commis before spreading his wings to gain more experience. He spent time with Heston Blumenthal’s organisation and then at The French (Simon Rogan’s Manchester project) before returning to Fischer’s in 2013.

Although Adam has a Fine Dining background, he is looking to wow diners in a different way at Rowley’s, with something more down to earth. He uses the best local produce with simple presentation and an emphasis on bringing out the flavour of individual ingredients. Together with Rupert Rowley, Head Chef at Fischer’s and co-owner of Rowley’s, menus have been redesigned. They will change with the seasons and there will always be “Specials”.

The Rowley’s Set Lunch Menu offers great value for money and Rowley’s Weekend Lunch is an ideal opportunity to relax with friends and family. The Children’s menu is available every day.

Dietary Requirements

We use nuts, fish, egg, shellfish, milk and gluten products within our kitchens and it is impossible to fully guarantee separation of these items in storage, preparation or cooking.

Many ingredients such as onions, garlic, peppers, seasonings and alcohol are an integral part of our basic preparations and it is not possible to isolate them entirely from dishes. Where guests are intolerant of these basic ingredients, we can offer the very best of fresh ingredients, prepared in a simple manner.
