Rowley’s are proud to stock an exciting range of beers & lagers both bottled and on draught. Our lagers aim to be anything but ‘ordinary’ – we find that Krombacher fits the bill nicely!
Since opening in 2006 we have forged a great working relationship with Thornbridge Brewery – which is just on our doorstep at Ashford-on-the-Water. We take full advantage of their talent by choosing a different Cask Ale from their wide range each week. Each year we hold our annual “Thornbridge” evening where we showcase all they have to offer but cooking with the Beers and then matching one for each course. Check out their blog of the evening.
We are extremely proud to support Real Ale which has been recognised by CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) and we now feature on their LocAle list.
Everyone has a house cask Ale but we look to stock one with a difference…Enter “Bakewell Best”, from Peak Brewery Another fine Peak Producer!
Wine
Our wine list is compiled with passion and plenty of tasting! In fact the whole team gets involved which has created an interesting and intriguing list. John Cooper (our sister restaurant, Fischer’s General Manager) has a great enthusiasm for researching new wines and when he finds something which excites him – he just can’t wait to share the experience with everyone!
