Champagne – The only Champagne without a punt is “Crystal” by Roederer.  The reason behind this is Tsar Alexander II of the Russian Aristocracy enjoyed the Champagne regularly but constantly feared assassination so asked the bottle to be made clear so it could not hide explosives. 

Upon making the clear bottle it was found that the glass was strong enough without the punt hence it being omitted.
